FILMS TITLE: ParchedMEDIA: Video/filmSOFTWARE: Adobe Premiere ProCLASS: FMX 463 Multimedia Installation ArtPROFESSOR: Erica IsringhausSEMESTER / TERM: SP 19INSTITUTION: University of TampaThis experimental short video was designed to depict and exemplify the uneasy feeling of being parched in the middle of the night. It is a feeling/moment that just about everybody experiences at some point. I know that I’m not the only person who has experienced this, so I wanted to create a sort of “memory” or “deja vu” for the audience who has ever felt this, creating a sense of relatability, without using dialogue and being too direct or upfront about the message. TITLE: Make UT WiFi GreatMEDIA: Video/filmSOFTWARE: Adobe Premiere ProCLASS: FMX 241 Into to Sound, Image, and MotionPROFESSOR: Kris AtkinsonSEMESTER / TERM: SP 18INSTITUTION: University of TampaThis was inspired by my experiences and struggles with the University’s WiFi throughout my college years. Although I wanted my documentary to be serious, I also always like to incorporate some degree or form of humor in my films or projects. TITLE: Fortnite AddictionMEDIA: Video/filmSOFTWARE: Adobe Premiere ProCLASS: FMX 241 Into to Sound, Image, and MotionPROFESSOR: Kris AtkinsonSEMESTER / TERM: SP 18INSTITUTION: University of TampaFor my narrative film, I was intent on making a comedy. Using my prior skills in filmmaking and all that I learned in my Sound, Image and Motion class, I created my own spin on ‘My Strange Addiction’. My only regret was using my friends as actors. https://afelsen1.blogspot.com/2017/11/project-11-12.htmlTITLE: Broken RemoteMEDIA: Stop-motion AnimationSOFTWARE: Adobe Premiere ProCLASS: FMX 210 Digital MediaPROFESSOR: Ty StudeSEMESTER / TERM: FA 17INSTITUTION: University of TampaI created this stop-motion animation using over 70 images taken in my former dorm room. This animation was fairly quick and easy to complete, and tells a clear and easy to follow story. TITLE: Rock Guy DocumentaryMEDIA: Video/filmSOFTWARE: Avid Media ComposerCLASS: FMX 343 Advanced Post ProductionPROFESSOR: Aaron WalkerSEMESTER / TERM: FA 19INSTITUTION: University of TampaThis documentary was my first project, as well as first time ever using Avid Media Composer. Already being so familiar and comfortable with Adobe Premiere Pro, I found it a bit difficult getting used to the dramatically different editing program, however once I got the hang of it, it became much clearer and I can now take advantage of the great advantages Avid has to offer.
