TITLE: Pushing Box Animation

PROFESSOR: Marcio Goncalves
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 20
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: The whole assignment was really just making sure we knew how to track animation and come up with decently fluid movement. Most of my issue came from figuring out what to even animate for this, and it kind of happened by accident. What ended up happening is, when I decided on the box pushing animation, I had no idea how to have a character let go of an object after having it attached to them for a walk cycle. I did a bunch of googling to figure it out, but I wound up just trying to work it into the final movement. It’s kind of like an inside joke with myself.

DESCRIPTION: This is only an animation in the loosest terms, but it introduced me to Maya’s lighting and camera functions. I only wish I had modeled something that’s less symmetrical so it looks better rotating like that. I still think it looks okay enough.
