SEMESTER / TERM: SP 20

DESCRIPTION: By the time I got assigned this project, I had already made 3 other types of resumes during the semester, so by that point I was just trying to make it interesting. I wish I had made it a bit better looking on startup, or had figured out how to have an image in the blue space that disappears when you click one of the menu options. Either way, I enjoyed this project more than some of the others in the class because of the creativity element. I based the general layout on the menus from Final Fantasy, since by this point I was stuck inside for COVID-19 and rpgs were the only things keeping me sane.

DESCRIPTION: I always have trouble with video projects since video isn’t my preferred format at all. I tried to start this project during spring break, but a lot of my break was taken up my funeral preparations. I lost my dad very quickly around Valentines Day to cancer, so it’d been difficult to try to get any work done. Most of the videos on my camera roll were little beach snippets, so I tried to work with that. I figured I should make it a memorial since it was an active thing on my mind, plus the beach theme went well with the poem that was on his funeral card, Footprints in the Sand.
