ROLE: Cinematographer, Editor, Art Design
MEDIA: Reenactment of “Ratatouille” movie scene
SOFTWARE: Adobe Premiere Pro
HARDWARE: Canon 90D
CLASS: FMX 331 Creative Triangle
PROFESSOR: Kristofer Atkinson
SEMESTER: Spring 2022
DESCRIPTION: “Fraises et Fromage” or Strawberries and Cheese, is a reenactment of a scene from Ratatouille. This project had two limitations I had to follow. I was not allowed to use any actors, or any dialogue. I decided to use cat toys as our “actors” and I used subtitles for the scenes we did. This was very challenging because I didn’t know where to begin when I received these limitations. All of the color effects were on set being used practically.
TITLE: Brick 2.0
ROLE: Director, Art Design
MEDIA: Reenactment of “Brick” movie scene
CLASS: FMX 331 Creative Triangle
PROFESSOR: Kristofer Atkinson
SEMESTER: Spring 2022
DESCRIPTION: “Brick 2.0” is a reenactment of the film “Brick”. I had to choose a scene from a film I had never seen, so I chose to recreate on of the beginning scenes. Before filming, I did not know either actor, so I did table reads, and many trials of coaching them through the dialogue. There were two locations used, which were very cinematically pleasing. It was challenging not being able to see the film previous, but this taught me to push my directorial skills.

Her roommate Bronte, tries to help her, but it is a lost cause.

SEMESTER: Spring 2021
DESCRIPTION: “Freaky Friday 2.0” is a reenactment of the film “Freaky Friday”. I chose to use the most memorable scene to me, which was when the mom and daughter switched bodies. The challenge was that I used my actual mom and sister. They were very hard to direct, but it made the scene feel more real to me. This film pushed me to learn directorial focus.
