DESCRIPTION: For this course, we focused on a single idea that we created. Mine revolved around a necromancer and one of his minions who stole a book for him. During his presentation, however, the necromancer shows his darker side and uses the book on the minion. I wanted to focus on a story driven animation as well as have a chance to create an interesting environment, and the story allowed for each.

I used a layered glass setup with a camera facing down on it to give the film depth with a background, middle ground, and a foreground. Each piece was also created entirely out of ink on paper cutouts.
