Fine Arts Title: Anxiety Media: Resin CastingClass: Beginning SculptureProfessor: Kendra Semester/Term: FA 17Institution: University of Tampa For our final project in sculpture we had to combine a piece of furniture with welded metal. Alongside that we could use a modeled part of our self. So in the beginning I new I wanted to cast my head and use that. Later on I decided to use the hands. It took a lot of work but in the end it all came together. Title: Black Strips FinalMedia: PaperClass: 2D DesignProfessor: Semester/Term: FA 17Institution: University of Tampa This was the result of a number of previous projects that we had to. We started with making patterns in smaller spaces and slowly built up to the larger board. As my skill improved I was able to make more intricate designs and eventually made this. Title: SpiralsMedia: PlasterClass: Foundations 3D DesignProfessor: Semester/Term: FA 16Institution: University of Tampa We had to sculpt a statue out of a sort of plaster and while I prefer more objective and detailed shapes I did enjoy making this. There was something rather enjoyable about working to make an abstract piece. I had to work at it and make sure that everything flowed together. Title: Batter UpMedia: PencilClass: Figure DrawingProfessor: Semester/Term: SP 17Institution: University of TampaThis was our final for figure drawing. The focus was more on texture then the figure and so it was a lot of work on the finer details. I found it especially difficult to get the distinction between different shadows looking right.
