When I was told that we had to a mask I was actually quite excited. Costumery is something that I very much enjoy and so I started thinking about what I wanted to do right away. The theme was doll so I created a mask in which a baby dolls face has broken into parts and is being kept together by monstrous goop.

I had actually made a couple of these before I made this one. I posted pictures of them and someone who saw them wanted to commission me to make one for them. So I worked to make a very polished decorational mask.

Bloody wounds have been something I’ve practiced for awhile now because I worked at a haunted woods years ago.
