Matthew France-Macias is a 23-year-old Cuban-American screenwriter, director, editor, actor, and photographer. Born in Alexandria, VA, he is based out of St. Pete Beach, Florida. He is currently set to graduate from the University of Tampa with a BFA in Film & Media Arts. He is known for his work on his own experimental films (8.3, lifeline, & A Beautiful Day to Lick Concrete) as well as the upcoming narrative short film A Night Out, written and directed by France-Macias himself. He has also starred in the 2020 short film Papers, which debuted at the 2020 Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg, Florida.
