TITLE: Monstercat “The Mix” Contest

DESCRIPTION: The Monstercat music label was hosting a contest for their annual “The Mix” mixdown in 2020, and artists could freely use their vast library of music to present a 10-minute long mix of songs. I was very proud of what I accomplished, and plan to remaster it because of how fun it was to make.

DESCRIPTION: I was humming the beginning of one song to myself. When I hit the bass drop, I landed on another song. I then realized it could not be postponed, I had to realize my aural vision.

TITLE: Seventh Solace

DESCRIPTION: First I was messing around on my glockenspiel, then I replicated the sequence of chords in Logic, then I added a guitar complementary riff with accidentals and permutations, and lastly set it to 7:4 time signature with an auto-generated drum accompaniment.
