DESCRIPTION: Throughout this course, students learned about the history of theatre, different elements that go into a theatrical production, and methods of performance. As a class, each student wrote a script and select students performed a table read of their scripts. My script was read in front of the non-serious class, who respected it and the emotional depth it conveyed.

DESCRIPTION: At my high school, students were challenged to submit scripts for an evening of one acts. I was one of the selected students. In addition to writing this script, I was responsible for casting, costumes, directing, and creating a plan for tech crew to execute. This helped me dip my toes into the world of writing and directing.
