Indya was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida and is the first born American in her family. With strong European influence, the arts have inspired her since she was a child.

Throughout school she was awarded with many writing and art recognitions, from art shows to publications in the award-winning literary magazine, the Oracle. In high school, she was editor of the same literary magazine for two years. She was also a featured content creator for her school’s TV production studio for four years.

With her experience in film and writing, she hopes to create new ideas for future films and projects. She transferred to the University of Tampa after switching from studying Nutrition at St. Petersburg College. She chose to follow her passion for writing and directing films. She has already written a feature length screenplay, many shorts, and has directed and starred in multiple projects.

She plans to direct her own films with her own style and influence and leave her mark in the film industry.
