Done in Javascript, this is a recreation illustration of Ursula from The Little Mermaid. This has always been one of my favorite movies from my childhood so I wanted to do one of my favorite characters. This was one of my first coding projects and to my surprise, I actually enjoyed it. FMX310 has taught me a lot about code and has given me the motivation I need in my schoolwork.

This was probably the easiest mandala of them all, as we just used our own images and then put them into Dreamweaver, duplicated them, and rotated them. The main challenge was originally deciding what kind of images to use and how to make them work together. Naturally, I chose to use photographs that I have taken at Disney.

This was one of the hardest projects for me because I was very puzzled on a good way to integrate text into a mandala/design. This piece was inspired by the speech from Emma Gonzalez on a recent shooting here in Florida. “We Call BS” was one of the main points in her speech and I really liked that and wanted to integrate that into my piece.

This project felt similar to the mandalas, but using sin/cosine to make the design eternally move. I really enjoyed this project and playing around with different numbers and functions to make things move a certain way. This project also helped in understanding the functions that we used.

This was definitely the most satisfying project I have ever done. While it was extremely difficult to figure out, the end result is great. I never thought I would be coding a video game, much less basically creating it from scratch with my own designs. The biggest challenge was getting everything to fall and look and do exactly what I wanted. This final project was fun and challenging.
