The production part of creating my website was relatively straightforward, I just had to add images, add descriptions about the work I’ve done, and also do some coding in HTML. I was able to incorporate elements from a previous project to create my new visual resume. The “production” stage of this part of the project was making the skeleton of the site, with the interactive links working, to make a barebones version without images.
The production part of creating the segment was a lot more complicated. First, I had to create the set I was going to use. As someone who isn’t an expert in 3D modeling and animation, I wasn’t able to build my assets completely from scratch. However, back when I took my Virtual Production class last year, I found an intriguing broadcast studio template that had some great assets that were free to use. I took one of the set templates, included some Stun Gun Sports logos, and got it ready to implement in the Virtual Production Studio!
Well, if it were only that simple.
Gregg Perkins gave me a helping hand in the VPS as we worked to bring this project to life. After we had one session to set up the tracking tools, and one session where the studio was not working, we finally were able to bring the studio to life in the VPS.
It looked great in the VPS, and once it was finished filming, it was time to move into the post-production step.
