On August 1, 1976, he helped rescue Niki Lauda from a fiery crash during the 1976 Nurburgring Grand Prix. This fictional piece tells the story of the crash from Arturo’s perspective, including portions that actually happened during the real crash.

The poem is written in the haiku style, with the 5-7-5 syllable format that it is known for.
