DESCRIPTION: This project is a text based media with lyrics from the Gerry and the Pacemaker’s and Liverpool FC anthem “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” Each block of text in the project is interactive, changing location, color, size, or even by affecting the rotation of other text blocks. Holding the mouse stationary on screen for a period of time allows a image of a “96” in the background to remember the 97* lives lost in the Hillsborough disaster in 1989.

*At the time of creating this project, there were only 96 deaths. Earlier in 2021, Andrew Devine, who suffered severe injuries from the disaster, passed away, and was ruled as the 97th death from the disaster, and has been added to a memorial to it by Liverpool F.C. at Anfield.
