DESCRIPTION: FMX 312 final project, creating a short narrative film, directed and shot by myself. This piece taught me what working with an actor on multiple locations is like and the many challenges that can come with it, especially with minimal crew. This class helped me through the narrative production process, from planning for locations, cast, and equipment to exporting the final cut, as well as introducing me to production techniques & lingo to use while on set.

SOFTWARE: Adobe Premiere Pro

CLASS: FMX 241 Sound, Image, and Motion
PROFESSOR: Robert Marinelli
TERM: Fall 2018
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
LINK: https://vimeo.com/306046911
DESCRIPTION: FMX 241’s final project, creating a short film of any kind: narrative, documentary, or experimental. My first short narrative film, The Wristwatch, introduced me to the basics of filmmaking: writing a short script, honoring the 180 degree line, and navigating the fundamentals of Premiere Pro. For me, this class was disconnected from the opportunities in our college and it really didn’t introduce me, in my freshman year, to any lasting figure of the FMX department.
