DESCRIPTION: This project was written and directed by Garret Ballinger for his senior thesis. He elected to have me shoot the film for him. It is a romantic comedy about what I found to be a relatable main character. This film was the first time I seriously considered lighting and saw the benefits of having a designated gaffer.

It’s a queer coming of age film and an exploration of female friendship. Because I spent the most time and effort into creating this film it was the one that taught me the most, particularly in directing styles and the importance of having a dedicated assistant director.
