i love you – Michaela Paladio (Billie Eilish Cover)

START AT 3:06

This project was honestly a very difficult one for me, because even though I had a role, it felt like I didn’t have one. I am so used to being in charge of cinematography or directing, and this was my first experience being an art director. For the most part, I felt very out of place, but I am proud of myself for what I managed to do. Unfortunately, the actress didn’t give me much room to be involved with hair and makeup as she wanted to do that herself, and the location did not have much for me to work with either. So my main job was picking an outfit, as well as handling the smoke machine which was a very beneficial learning session for me.

1802 – Official Music Video

I take a lot of pride in the outcome of this music video. Needless to say, working with family is not easy, and for this project I worked with my brother. Thankfully, he gives me plenty of room for my creativity to flow and for this video I focused on putting my editing skills to the test. I don’t think there has ever been a project in which I created as many cuts as there are in this one. All in all, this music video is one I am proud to show anyone.

Me Against The World – BTS of Music Video

START AT 1:09

Going into this project, I thought that shooting behind the scenes would be a fairly simply task. I was wrong. Considering this was an 18-hour shoot, it took a ton of perseverance to last through the entire shoot as I was the only BTS videographer. This was also my first time on a real constructed film set, which taught me a lot about the professional film world.

One Thing – Music Video

START AT 0:00

I had trouble finding the original version of this video and ended up having to download it off of a FaceBook link which had to sacrifice the quality. This was my first attempt at a music video that takes place outside the world of my Saudi living room. Needless to say, I look back on it now and can think of a million things I should have done differently, but I definitely had to start somewhere.
