Dakota Smith is a 20-year old filmmaker who is working on her BFA in Film and Media Arts at the University of Tampa located in Tampa, Florida. Dakota is originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where she spends her summers back home assisting to film and edit wedding videos. She has had a passion for filmmaking since she was a child, focusing on spreading creativity through images, as well as screenwriting. Dakota also has found a passion for live music, where she strongly believes in amplifying the voices of the younger generation to bring about new ideas into the entertainment industry.
