INSTITUTION: For this project, we had to create an intro to a TV show, which we pitched in class. My TV show titled, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, is about William Brown, a man in his late forties who ran for President of the United States on a whim and ended up winning. His entire family is forced to relocate their home from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Washington DC. The show follows William as we watch his struggle from getting over his gambling addiction turn into his career in politics. I am very interested in writing this show at a further date.

INSTITUTION: This project was to remove the sound from a movie scene, and then ADR it yourself. Unfortunately due to a hard drive fail, I lost the original files, but I have saved an excerpt of it. I have learned from my hard drive failure, to make sure it won’t happen again. This project was super fun to create, and I hope to do it again.

INSTITUTION: We were given clips and sound effects and told to edit it together to create a cohesive short story. It was a bit challenging to do as I didn’t have a master clip, so I didn’t know what story I was trying to tell, but I ended up loving the challenge.

SEMESTER / TERM: 2021 Spring Semester
INSTITUTION: For this project, we were tasked with creating a visual essay on a topic of our choosing. I decided to make a video on the effects of feminism in today’s society and through different media. I didn’t realize how many films or online videos have themes regarding gender equality until this project. I became passionate about gender equality in high school, and this project gave me the opportunity to create my own piece of media regarding the topic.
