SEMESTER / TERM: 2022 Fall Semester
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa

DESCRIPTION: For this project, we had to play with various 3-point lighting techniques. I decided to make a music video to one of my favorite songs, ‘As It Was’ by Harry Styles. I love the contrasting upbeat music with the heartfelt and sad lyrics and I wanted to show that contrasting theme within the lighting and camera angles in my project.

SEMESTER / TERM: 2022 Fall Semester
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa

DESCRIPTION: For this mini project, we had to show coverage in a creative way. I didn’t have any actors when I was filming, so I decided to use a few of my stuffed animals, and have them “fight” over a strawberry. While I didn’t mean to originally, this project ended up being a stop motion style, which the last time I did a stop motion before this was in Experimental. I also couldn’t find a song that would fit the aesthetic of my project, so I decided to make it silent.

DESCRIPTION: This was my final project for my Sound, Image, and Motion class. This project was supposed to have a larger cast, however it was the first semester back from Covid-19, and the rest of the cast got quarantined. I ended up changing my script a bit to only have 3 actors. If I could try filming this again, I would use a recording system that isn’t an airpod/my iPhone, which you can see in several clips.

TITLE: Untitled Continuity Assignment
YOUR ROLE: Director, Editor, Producer
TYPE: Narrative
CAMERA: Canon EOS 250D
SOFTWARE: Adobe Premiere Pro

DURATION: 2’16”

SEMESTER / TERM: 2020 Fall Semester
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa

DESCRIPTION: For this project, we had to practice continuity within our films, so I decided to do a day in my life. I also added an aspect of putting myself into the film as a “man in the mirror”. Since this was my very first production class at UT, I didn’t know how to color correct or audio mix, so I just went with it at the time; something I would want to change for the future.
