YOUR ROLE: Sound Mixer

DURATION: 3’00”
SEMESTER/TERM: Spring 2022
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This film was a project for AGBO’s No Sleep ‘Til Film Fest contest. While, we didn’t win the contest, I still had a fun time on set. This experience was super high pressure because each team is given 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, and upload the film. Everyone was given the same prompt on the Friday night, and the film was due Sunday. I worked with sound during this shoot, which I had done before previously, but was a way for me to improve on those skills.

DESCRIPTION: This was my first set experience that I was designated as a grip/gaffer. I have always been the type to be super hands on when learning, so the grip position is one that intrigued me. I love how the set ran, it was super fun and easy going. I’m very grateful to Matt for letting me help him on his thesis film set, as well as the sequel, that is in post production as of now.
