DESCRIPTION: This film was my final project for Experimental filmmaking. I originally wanted to make a different film, but due to time constraints and actor availability, I changed my topic. I ended up settling with using my younger sister as an actor, and while I didn’t know for sure the direction I wanted to go with the film, I used my skills of editing to make it the best I could.

DESCRIPTION: For this project in Experimental filmmaking, we had to re-edit a film scene. I chose the ending scene to Ari Aster’s 2019 film, Midsommar, as it shows contrasting aesthetics. I really wanted to play with different features of editing, as well as editing synonymously with the music.

DESCRIPTION: For this project, we had to take 2,000 images to make a stop motion film. I ended up making a film with various toys. While I like how most parts of the film turned out, I wish I had changed the background of the middle portion, as the lighting drastically shifts throughout it. I also wish I used a longer audio, as the audio I used wasn’t long enough and I just repeated it over again.

DESCRIPTION: For this project we had to play with transparency and overlays in post production. I decided to do mine on imperfections, so I compared and contrasted things that are deemed “perfect” by masking the two on top of each other.
