MEDIA: Short Narrative Script- An Adaptation of the Song “Invisible String” by Taylor Swift
SOFTWARE: Final Draft
PAGES: 18 (Pgs 1, 17/18 shown)
CLASS: FMX 341: Screenwriting Shorts
PROFESSOR: Aaron Walker
SEMESTER: Fall 2021
DESCRIPTION: Based on the song, Invisible String, by Taylor Swift, this short film loosely follows the fateful love story between the pop singer, Taylor Swift, and the mysterious actor, Joe Alwyn. I have loved Taylor Swift for a very long time so when we were told to write an adaptation of something, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. In the song, she quotes various colors describing different memories of the time before they were dating, when fate sent them distinct messages about each other. I chose a few of those moments both referenced in Invisible String, and Taylor’s song Delicate to write my screenplay.
