Top left and center: portrait assignment for ART 327 – Studio Lighting with professor Rob Dallas. This was shot in my dorm common room with a softbox, RGB lights, Canon 1DX Mark II, and my roommate.
Top right: stunt pilot Michael Wiskus flying over the San Francisco bay area before the Fleet Week Airshow in 2018. I was shooting out of a Cessna 172 with my 1DX Mark II. Capturing a perfectly circular propeller image is a challenge since my shutter speed had to be 1/60 of a second–pretty slow when flying two hundred miles per hour.
Bottom: four airshow performers flying over Huntington Beach, CA before the Great Pacific Airshow 2019. This once again was another challenge as the top speed of the Red Bull helicopter was nearly the same as the stall speed of the T33 jet in behind. We flew several circles over the beach to capture the perfect shot.
