For this project, we had to animate a character interacting with a weight of some sort. The challenge of this assignment was being able to accurately portray a strain in the character as if the weight was too heavy to interact with easily. I chose to do a fish and a treasure chest underwater because I thought it would be a fun scene. I think it turned out pretty well, but if I were to edit this in the future, I would focus more on movement in the water and have the fish more accurately move through the water instead of looking like it is flying through the air.

This project was one of the most tedious animation assignments we had received. A rotoscope is the frame-by-frame tracing over a live action. For this assignment, I decided to rotoscope a video of myself dancing while out on the weekend. I wanted to use a video of myself so that the rotoscope would be more personal. This Rotoscope was 323 frames and took me quite some time to complete. The most challenging part about this assignment was constantly redrawing the same figure over and over again, even if you were just changing one small thing. I found out after completing this project that you can copy and paste objects in frames, which is what i used for my weight project above. If I were to redo a rotoscope, it would be a lot cleaner.

This was one of my first assignments for 2D Animation. This assignment was to focus on one of the 12 Principles of Animation and create a stop motion story. I used the stop motion room at the University of Tampa and illustrated this on my iPad Pro using an illustration app called Procreate. This assignment made me fall in love with Stop Motion and brought back my love for illustration. It was a very fun project and I would love to do another stop motion using my iPad. I

This was a simple animation using 3D modeling and animating software, Maya. The objective of this assignment was to create three different objects moving in three different ways. It was a project to understand how to animate in Maya and was a refresher on modeling and texturing.
