TITLE: FMX 315 Board Game and Pieces
MEDIA: 3D Modeling, Printing, Animation
SOFTWARE: Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, Adobe Premiere Pro
HARDWARE: MacBook Pro ’16
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920p x 1080p
CLASS: FMX 315 3D Printing + Modeling II
PROFESSOR: Christopher Christian
SEMESTER / TERM: SP ’21
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This is a compilation of multiple projects I did over the semester. The beginning shows the board game and pieces (a rocket launch complex). All of the models in the video are modeled with the intent to be 3D printed and my initial test prints have shown that they do indeed come out as modeled on the computer. Next it transitions into various cameras following one of the rockets. This is also demonstrating control over cameras movement(via motion path), as well as the camera aim’s movement within Maya. This was an initial test for my final project in this class where I further refine these techniques.

TITLE: A Short Trip to Space
MEDIA: 3D Modeling, Printing, Animation
SOFTWARE: Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, Adobe Premiere Pro
HARDWARE: MacBook Pro ’16
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920p x 1080p
CLASS: FMX 315 3D Printing + Modeling II
PROFESSOR: Christopher Christian
SEMESTER / TERM: SP ’21
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: Here is a more fledged out version of the previous animation. Here I have refined my skills using the bifrost effects and also utilized the motion paths in Maya much more efficiently. I wanted to create something that is simple in nature but is able to convey a deep emotional feeling. I also submitted this to UT’s Black Box Film Festival under the animation category.
