Sarah Marie Adamson is a junior at the University of Tampa, and is scheduled to graduate in 2020 with a BFA degree in Film and Media Arts. Sarah Marie is the vice president of UT’s Photography club, coordinating photography trips and meetings.

Adamson was born and reared in Pensacola, FL, visiting her father every other weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she developed a passion for the French culture and language.

Throughout her adolescence, Adamson was involved with the theatre community at Pensacola Little Theatre. When she attended high school in Pensacola, she joined the theatre club. She attended a competitive districts festival with her high school theatre troupe 4760. Besides performing on stage, Adamson worked with stagecraft and the tech crew. Loving the atmosphere and the similarity of these arts, Adamson decided to pursue a degree in film, where she continuously learns the craft of visual storytelling. Her favorite part of film is how it incorporates her love of performing, writing, and post-production altogether.

During her college career, Adamson has interned as the social media and marketing department for Go Bark Ball and Aerial Innovations, where she was introduced to professional aerial and commercial photography. After college, Sarah Marie hopes to create stories as a director, writer, and editor of film.
