TITLE: Wacky Adventures at Wild Town USA
MEDIA: Feature Length Script
SOFTWARE: Final Draft 11
PAGES: 32 (Work in Progress)
CLASS: FMX 340 Screenwriting Development
PROFESSOR: Cynthia Savaglio
SEMESTER: Fall 2021
DESCRIPTION: Walter and his gang of misfit friends have one last summer working at Wild Town USA Theme Park to figure out where they all stand with each other before they go off to college. This piece is based off of my high school friend group and living in the Orlando area. The theme park I imagined while writing this is FUN SPOT (I obviously exaggerated a lot of details). I miss movies like Goonies or American Graffiti and I wanted to capture that within in my writing. This piece is something I believe has a life outside of the class room and I plan on pursuing it getting made once I graduate.
TITLE: Real Actors
MEDIA: Short Narrative Script

PROFESSOR: Aaron Walker
SEMESTER: Spring 2021
DESCRIPTION: A con-artist goes to a local community theatre show to scout his ex-girlfriend as a new prospect to replace his past partner in crime. This short script started as just an exercise for the class but has inspired me into making this a feature length script, but taking the dark comedy route. I read a book over the summer (2022) about female con artist and it made me want to pursue the idea of “actress turned swindler”.
TITLE: A Bride Walks Into A Bar…
MEDIA: Short Narrative Script

SEMESTER: Spring 2021
DESCRIPTION: Brielle is a larger than life personality and claims to be left at the alter to different men to get free things, until she meets Mason, where her perspective changes. This script is actually one of my backup ideas for my senior seminar. I was really into the idea of women coning men at the time so I wrote this plot ending to a rom com. I think some of the scenes need a little work but the overall structure was there.
TITLE: Eleven Years
MEDIA: Monologue Writing Exercise
SOFTWARE: Final Draft 11
PAGES: 4
CLASS: FMX 240 Screenwriting Fundamentals
PROFESSOR: Aaron Walker
SEMESTER: Spring 2021
DESCRIPTION: Jenny, a girl with a strong sense of herself, confronts her cheating rockstar, ex-boyfriend. This Assignment made me realize I was a dialogue writer. I liked focusing on speech and different speech patterns to build the character. If I can read this aloud an believe a person would realistically say these words then I’ve done my job. I was writing this primarily after going through a breakup and I felt a lot of me was in this monologue and I like how easy the words come to “Jenny” like she was just waiting for him to say the wrong thing.
TITLE: ONE BAR,TWO PEOPLE,THREE MEETINGS

SEMESTER: Spring 2021
DESCRIPTION: Luna is a kind-hearted person when she meets Walter, who is the opposite of sunshine. I don’t usually enjoy writing characters the way I wrote Walter (scummy) ,however this small exercise I pushed myself to write a one dimensional character for my female protagonist to work off of. I think the fast pace, quick responses works better than my usually tactics of lots of dialogue.
TITLE: Gravedigger
MEDIA: Writing Exercise
SOFTWARE: Final Draft 11
PAGES: 3
CLASS: FMX 340 Screenwriting Development
PROFESSOR: Cynthia Savaglio
SEMESTER: Fall 2021
DESCRIPTION: A Gravedigger notices a figure emerge from the distance and come towards him. I co-wrote this short exercise with Billy Touzin. He leant more towards atmospheric description and I leant with dialogue and physical actions. Together I think we wrote a well structured scene. The prompt given to us was : A figure emerges in the distance. I felt we really tried to capture the atmosphere.

SEMESTER: Spring 2021
DESCRIPTION: Pam stumbles upon a vintage photography portfolio and must have it. This is also a script I would want to pursue in the future as a feature. This was based on the thrift store I worked in the past two summers mixed with my love for classic rock and roll music. I wanted to combine all my loves almost into a nostalgic story that pays homage to this time in my life. The way Mairee speaks is exactly how this lady Ms. Patty speaks at the thrift store back home, and I wanted to capture that southern charm.
