The Sculpted Head project was the first assignment we had in my Printing and Modeling class. Although I have previously taken Beginning 3D Animation, this was a nice introduction to the sculpting tools and using different methods that I can use for future projects.

The Appliance model was a step up from the head for me. I enjoyed the process of box modeling and it helped me understand the point of different tools, such as extruding and the soft selection tool. I enjoyed the pace of the class, although sometimes slow, it helped me understand and clarify any questions that I had about the software.

The Aquatic model was the hardest model within the class for me this semester. Extruding the fish at the beginning seemed simple, but there were so many underlying ways to mess up the model that made this project frustrating. I was very grateful to learn how to properly texture objects in Maya as well. Although I enjoy the way my clownfish ended up turning out, I learned that more organic models are not my strong suit.

TITLE: Architectural Model

The Architectural model was our last project of the semester. Using the tools that I learned throughout the class, this model was my favorite because of the intricacy within the simple structure of the model. Even though I had a few challenges in this class, I am happy that I understand how to model in Maya and use the software to its greatest capacity.
